O'Malley Chooses Castleton State
Long Time Revolution Player and Assistant Captain, Ryan O'Malley, has made his decision to continue his hockey career at NCAA Division III, Castleton State College in Castleton, VT. O'Malley spent 4 years as a stand out Defensmen with the Rev Team. He first spent two years with the Empire Junior B Team where he lead the team to the National Tournament and then 2 more years with the Junior A team where he matured into an EHL All Star Defenseman with this year's club. Head Coach James Laux has been his Coach for the past 5 seasons. "I am very proud of the player that Ryan has become. It has been an amazing jouney for both of us the past few years. Castleton will be getting a Great Defenseman who will contribute right away on their blue line".
"I would like to thank the Pulley's (Owners) for their commitment and dedication during my time here in Philadelphia. I would especially like to thank Coach Laux for everything he has done for me. It was a great honor to play here for him. I also want to thank my Family for all of their dedication and support for me through the many years of Travel Hockey". General Manager Chris Kanaly said the feelings are mutual. "Ryan is a great kid. A Revolution Lifer. No single player has meant more to Our Organization than him. I wish him nothing but the Best!"
