Guildford Flames will be hoping to make big statement on home ice when they take on Challenge Cup holders Cardiff at The Spectrum on Sunday night.

Goaltender Brian Stewart should be back between the pipes for Guildford tonight, after serving the second game of a two match suspension on Saturday.

Cardiff got their Cup title defence off to a strong start on Saturday night, beating Elite League newcomers Milton Keynes 5-2 in the Welsh capital.

Gleason Fournier, Patrick Asselin, Andrew Hotham and new signings Paul Crowder and Matt Pope were all on target for the Devils during the victory, with goaltender Ben Bowns making 35-saves.
