STATEMENT FROM THE ELITE ICE HOCKEY LEAGUE
The EIHL board have made an unprecedented move to review the Department of Player Safety decisions related to the game between Sheffield Steelers and Belfast Giants on Sunday October 22nd.
The people involved with the EIHL DOPS will not be involved in this review process.
The EIHL have asked for assistance from an outside body that currently look after player safety for another top level professional league.
No further statement will be made by the EIHL until after the review process has been completed and the results published.
