SANFORD, Fla.- Throughout the 2025 season, the Florida Collegiate Summer League has honored two players at the conclusion of each week, an FCSL Player of the Week and an FCSL Pitcher of the Week. This week's honors represent performances from Monday, July 14 through Saturday, July 19. The weekly honors are selected via a vote of league coaches and officials.

Orlando's Hayden Gustavson (Louisiana Tech) had one of the most productive weeks of any player in the Florida League this season, earning Player of the Week honors in the process. Gustavson racked up eleven hits across 20 at-bats, with three of those hits - in games on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday - going for home runs. The second-year Snapper ended the week with eight RBIs, helping the Snappers to the second seed in the FCSL playoffs.

Gustavson had at least one hit in all five of Orlando's games this week, including three consecutive three-hit performances in the middle of the week. The Louisiana Tech product ended the season as one of just three Florida League players to hit five or more home runs and drive in 20 or more runs.

The final FCSL Pitcher of the Week honor was awarded to DeLand's John Havens (Undecided). Havens gave the Suns a scoreless inning in the team's Wednesday victory over Winter Garden, then had his best outing of the season against Sanford on Friday. Havens tossed 4.1 scoreless innings against the River Rats, allowing just one hit and one walk while striking out four.

A native of Saint Simons Island, Georgia, Havens has been one of the stalwarts of the DeLand staff over the past month. In his last four appearances, the righthander has allowed just two runs across 10.1 innings of work, striking out nine hitters while walking just three.

Additionally, the Florida League honors one player from each team that was not selected as Player or Pitcher of the Week.
