This afternoon, the FireAntz and head coach Jeff Bes acquired goaltender Tyler Green from the Peoria Rivermen in exchange for future considerations. Green now joins Sean Bonar and Nick Kohn as part of Fayetteville's already elite unit to man the net.

With the Rivermen this season, Green posted a 10-4-4 record with a goals against average of 2.77 and a .907 save percentage. The 25 year old native of Noblesville, Indiana has one game of ECHL experience with the Norfolk Admirals and played his collegiate hockey at the University of Wisconsin Eau-Claire.
