Football New Brunswick Selects U15 Provincial Team

Football New Brunswick (FNB) is pleased to announce its U15 Provincial Team roster. The U15 Provincial Team is the youngest age group FNB offers at a provincial level and serves as an introduction to high performance football for these young players. The team will play a home and home exhibition series with Nova Scotia’s U15 team. They will need to come together as a team quickly as they play Game 1 of the series on June 7th in Halifax. Game 2 will be at Canada Games Stadium in Saint John on June 21st at noon.

Head Coach Jaret Phillips had this to say about the roster selections “the selection process was extremely difficult given the talent level at camp. As a coaching staff, we look forward to working with the 40 players selected to the provincial team.”

This is the first year FNB has selected a U15 team and will be an excellent entry point for these young athletes. “This is such a great opportunity for these players going forward in their football careers. The program is designed to prepare them for what is to come at the U17 and U18 provincial level. The process itself, will not only include on field training, but players will be introduced for the first time to hours of classroom and video sessions,” added Coach Phillips.
