The FSHL will be hosting the Annual Awards Dinner at the Signature Grand
On Wednesday, March 8th the FSHL will be hosting the annual Awards Dinner at the Signature Grand located at 6900 State Road 84 in Davie. Doors open at 6:30PM and we are planning to adjourn by 8:15PM. Each team has been given 6 free tickets as part of the registration fee and can be used by Coaches, Managers or players. We ask every team to have at least one coach in attendance so they can hand out the Hobey Baker Award to the player that was nominated by the team.
Cost of the tickets for the evening are $25.00 per person and need to be purchased prior to the event. Terry Trsinar has sent out several notices asking teams to have their headcount to her by March 1st so we can give them a count on the number of people attending. This is extremely important to ensure the success of the evening. Dress for the evening is "hockey respectful" (no shorts or T shirts but also no ties or sport coats required). Please use good judgement in determining your appearance as it shows respect for our guest speaker and all the special guests that will be attending.
The evening has many awards for individuals and teams alike and we are going to have a compact program that will be going on throughout dinner. We ask that you make every effort to arrive on time and keep the table chatter at a minimum during the presentations. Table assignments will be made based on the team's need to access the podium for presentations. We will have a photographer taking pictures throughout the evening but you are encouraged to bring your camera and take pictures in the area set aside for such purposes.
