Glens Falls Dragons Add Two Players From Colby (Kansas) Community College

Glens Falls-NY- The Glens Falls Dragons have announced the addition of two more players that will play for them in the PGCBL at East Field this summer. Both of them play for Colby Community College in Kansas.

Trevor Smeeton is a sophomore infielder from Castle Rock, Colorado. In 37 games this season, Smeeton is batting a solid .318 for the Trojans. He has 27 RBIs and has scored 33 runs. Smeeton has stolen three bases. He has 12 doubles and two triples, and an on base percentage of .423.

Brian Granton is a freshman infielder/catcher from Calgary, Alberta. Granton's numbers are impressive. In 32 games with Colby he is batting .368 with two home runs and 25 RBIs. He has scored 42 runs and stolen 14 bases. He sports a .444 on base percentage and a slugging percentage of .544.

Smeeton and Granton have played key roles in the Trojan's season thus far. Colby is off to a 27--11 start, and are 14-6 in conference play.

Both Smeeton and Granton are multi-talented players who should be nice contributors to the Dragons this summer. The Glens Falls Dragon's staff is excited to have both of these young players coming East to play for us in 2016. Come out to East Field and watch these two "Breath some fire" in the PGCBL beginning with the home opener on June 3rd.
