Dragons Add Three Pitchers to The Staff.

The Glens Falls Dragons are just a month away from the season opener and they continue to add players to their 2016 roster. The Dragons have announced that they have added three more arms to their pitching staff. Glens Falls has signed Peter Masterson (Kutztown), Jeremy Norris (Grand Canyon),and Tristan Hubler (Oklahoma Panhandle).
Masterson is a sophomore for the Kutztown University Golden Bears. He played his high school baseball at Park Ridge High School in Park Ridge, New Jersey. In seven appearances so far this year Masterson had an ERA of just 2.76. He has made four starts and has pitched well in each. Masterson has given up just five earned runs in 16.1 innings. He has stuck out 14 and walked just five. Last year as a Freshman Masterson made nine appearances and did not yield an earned run in four of those games. He started four games, earning wins in two of them. He wasn't involved in the decision in the other two.
Norris is a freshman at Grand Canyon University. He played his high school baseball at Basha High School in Chandler, Arizona. Norris has extensive pitching experience. In high school he finished with a career ERA 3.76, including a 2.74 ERA his senior year. Norris was ranked as the ninth best right-handed in pitcher in Arizona by Perfect Game. He spent two years as a member of the Arizona Diamondbacks Elite Scout Team and in 2014 competed in the Perfect Game !7U World Series where he was an All-Tournament team selection.
Hubler is a junior at Oklahoma Panhandle University. A native of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Hubler played high school baseball at Carl Albert High School. For the Aggies he has made 10 mound appearances, starting eight games. He has a 1-6 record with an ERA of 9.00. He has struck out 25, while walking 18.
The Glens Falls Dragons play their home opener on June 3rd at East Field Stadium. Come out and watch the Dragons "Breath Some Fire!"
