Dragons Add Franklin Miller to Opening Night Roster

Glens Falls, NY- The Glens Falls Dragons are pleased to announce that Ballston Spa, New York native and Dominican College product Franklin Miller has joined the team on day three of the Dragons training camp. Dominican is a NCAA Division II college that plays in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.

The 6-0, 185 junior pitcher joins the Dragons posting a 3-4 record with 61.1 innings pitched and 61 strikeouts in eleven appearances with nine games started. 

In 2015 with the Chargers Miller appeared in 8 games, starting six. He finished with a 2-3 record with an ERA of 6.17. He struck out 27 batters, while walking 17 in 32.2 innings of work

Miller began his college career at Hudson Valley Community College. While pitching for the Vikings, Miller was named to the Mountain Valley Conference First Teams, and was Second Team All-Region.

In high school while playing for the Ballston Spa Scotties, Miller was named to the All Suburban Council Second Team.

Miller joins Whitehall's Josh Hoagland (Skidmore) and Saratoga's Ryan Cummings (St. Joseph) as local players that will wear the colors of the Glens Falls Dragons this summer.

The Dragons play their home opener on East Field at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, June 3rd against the Amsterdam Mohawks.
