Waterloo boosted by Datz's play in net, beats Listowel 3-1

The win by Waterloo clinched the best of seven series at zero-four

Siskins pulled out the victory even though they were hit with 20 penalty minutes.

Waterloo were led by Gary Mantz, who had one goal. Mantz scored in the first period to make the score 1-0 Waterloo. The goal was assisted by Anthony Pullicino and Lucas Goodman.

Siskins stifled Cyclones's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Others who scored for Waterloo included Jared Lindsay and Conner Jean, who scored one each. More assists for Waterloo came via Goodman, who had two and Pullicino and Nick Hirst, who contributed one apiece.

Listowel were led by Ben Shelley, who scored the team's only goal. Shelley scored in the second period to make the score 3-1 Waterloo. Chayse Herrfort provided the assist.

Waterloo incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Tyler Fassl recorded 27 saves for Cyclones. Listowel incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
