Nathan Witt of Top Speed drafted in 17th round of MLB Draft
The Golden State Collegiate Baseball League continues to produce MLB-quality talent. Top Speed and Michigan State Spartan pitcher Nathan Witt was drafted in the 17th round (520th overall) of the 2017 MLB Draft.
Witt has made one appearance so far this summer for Top Speed, throwing one inning and striking out two batters and allowing just one hit.
During the 2017 season with the Spartans, Witt was 2-0 with a 4.37 ERA in 22 appearances.
