The Golden State Collegiate Baseball League (GSCBL) announced today that its league members will play 42 league games during the 2019 summer season. The GSCBL has eight franchises among three different states. The league has six teams in Northern California, one team in Reno, Nevada and another in Medford, Oregon.

The first pitch will be thrown on May 30, 2019 when the California Bees travel to the Pacific Northwest to take on one of the GSCBL's newest franchises, the Medford Rogues.

The other new franchise, the Yuba-Sutter Gold Sox will make their GSCBL debut on May 31, 2019 against the Sacramento Heat.

Four-time defending league champion, Top Speed Baseball faces off against league rival the San Francisco Seagulls starting on June 15, 2019. Top Speed and the Seagulls have faced each other in each of the last three league championship series.

Each league franchise will play each other six times during the regular season with the playoffs set for July 25, 2019 through July 28, 2019 in Northern California.

In just its seventh season as a league the GSCBL continues to make great strides in becoming one of the premier summer collegiate leagues on the West Coast.

"We are excited about the 2019 season and beyond. Top Speed has been ranked in the top-10 nationally each of the last four seasons. The Seagulls have been in and out of the rankings over the last two years as well. On top of that, the addition of Yuba-Sutter and Medford adds incredible fan bases and high quality baseball to our league"  Co-Owner Marc Caviglia said.
