Green Giants sweep the Galion Graders to start off the 4 game road trip
The St. Clair Green Giants swept the doubleheader in Galion, Ohio against the Galion Graders to improve their record to 18-11 and took possession of the division lead.
In game 1 the Green Giants won a pitchers duel 1-0. Miguel Cienfuegos was the winning pitcher throwing 7 shutout innings allowing 3 hits while striking out 6 and walking none.
In game 2 the Green Giants won 5-3. When tied 3-3 after 7, the man of the day Miguel Cienfuegos hits a solo Home Run in the top of the 8th to give the Green Giants the 4-3 lead, the Green Giants would tack on another as they would go on to sweep the Graders.
The Green Giants will travel to Richmond, Indiana to take on the Richmond Jazz to continue their streak.
