Green Giants clinch first place with the sweep over the Locos!
The St. Clair Green Giants captured the Northern Divison regular season title with a 4-3 walk off win over the Lima Locos. This win clinched the Green Giants first ever regular season pennant and a home playoff on Wednesday, August 1st.
Leading the Green Giants offensively was Tecumseh native Gibson Krzeminski going 2-3 with 2RBI. Pitcher Steven Butts picked up his 5th win on the season in relief.
The Green Giants last regular season home game will be this Sunday at 7:05pm against the Saginaw Sugar Beets. We encourage all fans to come on down to Lacasse Park, where the St. Clair College Alumni Association will be supplying all fans with a hot dog and pop for free!
