Pitcher of the Week- Week 3
Jacob Moskowitz has been a key piece of the Green Giants pitching staff for 2 seasons now. He had joined us last summer as he was headed into is Freshman year at Palomar College in the state of California. Last summer, Moskowitz was a dominant pitcher who had been awarded the Top Pitching Prospect by the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League (GLSCL). After being named as the recipient of the award, he returned back to the mound at Lacasse Park for the 2019 season where he continues to be a dominant force. This is now Moskowitz's second time for the 2019 season where he has earned the Pitcher of the Week honours (Week 1&3).
This past week, Moskowitz posted a 0.00 ERA where he struck out 10 batters and allowed just 2 hits in his only game started. He had taken the mound against the Licking County Settlers and collected with a win to get our feet back under us. Moskowitz led the team to snap a 4 game losing skid as we head into the fourth week of the season.
