Scouts beat Joes 3-1

The Joes take their second loss of the season against the Xenia Scouts with a final score of 3-1.
The Scouts were able to put 2 on the board in the 2nd inning, leaving the Joes trailing by 2. Both of the teams struck again on the 8th, leaving the game with a 3-1 score.
In the top of the 8th, Cam Gilkerson hit a double, allowing Jamie Palmese to finally put the Joes on the board, leaving just a 1-point lead to the Scouts. Pitcher Griffen Paige was able to put on a good performance at the mound today, pitching 4 innings and only allowing 1 hit while totaling 7 strikeouts.
The Joes are back home on Tuesday, June 11th at 7:05 PM, facing off against the Muskegon Clippers. Come out to Foundation Field to support your Hamilton Joes!
