Markham falls to Kingston in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

Brandon Nadeau gave the Kingston Voyageurs a 4-3 (OT) victory over the Markham Royals when he scored 13:12 into the extra period.

After the loss made the series score 3-0 in the best of seven series, Markham faces elimination next time out.

Kingston stifled the Royals' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Voyageurs' offense rang up 35 shots on Markham's net.

Kingston was led by Anthony Rinaldi, who registered three goals and one assist. Kingston additionally got points from Nadeau, who also tallied one goal and one assist. In addition, Kingston received assists from Reid Russell, Jack Zielinski, and Connor Cobbold, who each chipped in one.

The Royals kept the Voyageurs' goalie busy throughout the game, and David Richer made 43 saves on 46 shots.

Markham was led by Jeff Joynt, who finished with one goal and two assists. Joynt scored 17:29 into the third period to make the score 3-3. Lucas Condotta picked up the assist. Markham also had goals scored by Hudson Michaelis and Jonathan Prasnjak, who each put in one. More assists for Markham came via Joel Knight, who had one.

Kingston incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Marcus Semiao recorded 31 saves for the Royals. Markham incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
