2021 HCBL First and Second Teams Announced
The 2021 Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League first and second teams were announced on Tuesday. The HCBL Champion Southampton Breakers had the most selections of any team on the first team with six selections. The 2021 HCBL MVP Will Gale (Seton Hall) highlighted the offense on the first team with Breaker teammates Parker Stinson (Indiana State) and Tyler Robinson (Dartmouth).
HCBL Pitcher of the Year Nicolas Luc (Adelphi) of Westhampton made the starting pitchers on the first team with league ERA leader Cameron Mayer (Tufts) of Riverhead, Matt Jachec (Indiana State) of Southampton and Justin Sinibaldi (Rutgers) of Sag Harbor.
HCBL Reliever of the Year Jason Acker (Nova Southeastern) of the Sag Harbor Whalers highlighted the relief pitchers on the first team with Riverhead's Coleton Reitan (Wesleyan) who made the first team previously in 2019 and Rich Gennaro (Molloy) of Southampton.
