HCBL to Start 14th Season on Friday
The Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League gets set to start it's 14th season on Friday, June 10th. Friday's season opening games will be highlighted by the defending HCBL champion Southampton Breakers facing the Riverhead Tomcats in a rematch of last season's HCBL Championship Series at Sgt. Jonathan Keller Field in Calverton. Live audio from that game will be broadcasted on Meridix.com with a link on the HCBL front page.
Other games on the schedule include the North Fork Ospreys going to Bellport High School in Brookhaven to face the South Shore Clippers. In addition the Shelter Island Bucks play their first game since the 2019 HCBL Wild Card Game when they face the Sag Harbor Whalers at Fiske Field in Shelter Island.
Update (6/8): The North Fork/South Shore game for 6/10 at Bellport High School has been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date.
