Ospreys' Bats Break Out at Southampton

The North Fork Ospreys got a big win in their chase for an HCBL playoff spot beating the Southampton Breakers by a final score of 9-1 at Southampton High School on Tuesday.

 

Nic Adamo (Bucknell) went 3-for-5 at the plate for North Fork with an RBI and a pair of runs scored.

 

Adamo’s teammate at Bucknell, Mason Kelly had three hits as well for the Ospreys with a double, two runs scored and an RBI single in the top of the ninth.

 

AJ Anzai (Chapman) went 3-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI single back in the top of the first that got the scoring started for the Ospreys.

 

Osprey batting combined for 16 hits in the contest. North Fork batted an average of .421 in the game against the Breakers.


Marshall Mott (Pennsylvania) got the win pitching four innings of relief only allowing an earned run as he got his second win of the season.
