2022 HCBL First and Second Teams Announced
The 2022 first and second teams of the Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League were announced on Monday. The South Shore Clippers who were the top team in the regular season highlighted the selections on the first team with five.
HCBL MVP Blake Salamon (Northwood) of the Shelter Island Bucks led the selections on the infield on the first team with Westhampton's Jack Halloran (Emory) along with Ryan McIntyre (Amherst) and Aidan Larkin (Hofstra) of the Shelter Island Bucks.
Pitcher of the Year Liam Pulsipher (Queens) of South Shore highlighted the selection of starters on the first team with teammate John Rizzo (Adelphi) along with Westhampton's Teo Torrado (Gettysburg) and Southampton's Zach Karson (Florida Southern).
HCBL Reliever of the Year Danny Gargano (Queens) of South Shore was joined in the selection of relievers on the first team with Southampton's Jacob Young (Brown) and Shelter Island's Max Brulport (Stonehill).
