Your Bulls win out at the South Regionals to become the #4 Seed from the South!  

The first game your #8 Bulls took on #5 South Carolina and it was a goalie show.  After 60 minutes of hockey we had no goals thanks to outstanding goaltending by Freshman #31 Sam Coleman and a solid defensive effort.  Just under six minutes into overtime Senior #14 Steven DeMacro received a pass from Freshman #15 Logan Sheehan.  DeMacro then scored the only goal of the game, moving the Bulls one win closer to Nationals!  Relive the goal by watching it here: USF Overtime Goal vs South Carolina

The only thing standing between the Bulls and Nationals, was one team #7 Liberty.  This was a score fest compared to the first game as there were nine goals scored. The Bulls opened the scoring first with a goal from Junior #12 Wes Moon from Freshman #22 Kenny Weightman and #28 Alex Rhoads which was enough to take a 1-0 lead into the first intermission.  The scoring increased in the Second as both USF and Liberty got on the board twice to with the Bulls still leading going into the second intermission.  The USF goals were scored by Freshman #15 Logan Sheehan from Senior #14 Stephen DeMarco and by Senior #5 Lukas Medo from Senior #14 Stephen DeMarco.  Just over a minute into the Third Period Seniors #10 Huw Baveystock and #26 Michael Budd connected to score what would be the Game Winning Goal.  Seniors #5 Lukas Medo scored an empty netter from Senior #14 Stephen DeMarco with just under two minutes remaining to put the nail in the coffin.  Then Senior #26 Michael Budd pilled on by scoring with less than a minute on a goal from Freshman #14 Logan Sheehan and Junior #12 Weston Moon. The two late goals give the Bulls a 6-3 win over Liberty and punch the Bulls ticket to Columbus, Ohio!
