Varsity Tier 1 Friday 3/6:

Seed 3: Commack Cougars 8 – Seed 6: Half Hollow Hills Thundercolts 5: A great game featuring high-end talent, Kody Forte had three goals to move Commack to the next round. Goaltender Andrew Seegel made 35 saves in the win.

Seed 5: East End Warriors 4 – Seed 4: Sachem Braves 3 (OT): Our first overtime game of the playoff season did not disappoint, and saw East End come out on top thanks to Sal Deluca’s winner eight minutes into the extra frame. Sean Kavanagh tied the game with 1:48 left for Sachem, and both goaltenders (Loiacono and Berger) combined for 54 saves.

Varsity Tier 1 Sunday 3/8:

Seed 5: East End Warriors 7 – Seed 1: Smithtown Bulls 6 (OT): East End seemed to be in command of this one with a couple of minutes left, but Smithtown rallied late by scoring 2 goals in 17 seconds thanks to Matt Hawkins. Following an excellent overtime in which both teams traded excellent chances and saves, Brett Logelfo won the game in the middle of overtime for East End.

Seed 2: POB / JFK Hawks 5 – Seed 3: Commack Cougars 3: A close game between these two teams was broken by Jacob Horenstein and Michael Rovinsky’s two goals each. Jordan Kupersmith had four assists in the win. They will play East End next Friday for a chance to move to the final.

Varsity Tier 2 Friday 3/6:

Seed 1: Islip Buccaneers 9 – Seed 4: Connetquot Thunderbirds 1: Islip shook off the rust of not playing a while with five goals from Tyler Bischoff. Chris Magliaro made 17 saves in the win for Islip.

Seed 2: Farmingdale Dalers 11 - Seed 3: Wantagh Warriors 8: Wantagh came out literally firing taking a 3-0 lead, but Farmingdale wore the Warriors down and eventually took over the game. Harrison Chesney had six goals and Daniel Van Laere added two. Wantagh’s Kyle Gagnon has 14 goals in two playoff games.

Varsity Tier 2 Sunday 3/8:

Seed 2: Farmingdale Dalers 7 – Seed 1: Islip Buccaneers 4: Harrison Chesney’s 11 goals in two playoff games helped propel Farmingdale into the final game on Friday 4/3. Steve Paoli was excellent in goal for the Dalers. Tyler Biscoff had four points for Islip.

JV Playoffs Friday 3/6:

Seed 3: East End Warriors 6 – Seed 6: Deer Park / Half Hollow Hills 2: East End opened the scoring, but Deer Park fought back with James Castellano’s tying goal and Sam Endelson’s excellent play in net. Endelson made 36 saves in all. However, Sean Bass and Dom Deluca’s two goals each proved to be the winners in the second half for East End.

Seed 4: Roslyn Bulldogs 7 – Seed 5: Farmingdale Dalers 4: The Bulldogs played a good, smart game but the Dalers hung in there tough with some good play of their own. Farmingdale made it 6-4 with a couple of minutes to play but Roslyn sealed it with an empty net goal from behind their own net.

JV Playoffs Sunday 3/8:

Seed 1: Middle Country Cougars 5 – Seed 4: Roslyn Bulldogs 3: Goaltenders Vinny Nullet and Anthony Raspantini were on their game combining for 44 saves in this great game. Roslyn played a smart game, but Middle Country was able to outlast them in the end with some timely goal scoring and solid defense.

Seed 3: East End Warriors 10 – Seed 2: Carle Place Cyclones 5: The brothers Hoisik turned in a good performance for the Cyclones keeping them in the game combining for all five goals. However, Dom Deluca broke a 3-3 tie in the beginning of the second half and East End never looked back. Deluca finished with six goals giving him ten on the weekend. The win sets up East End and Middle Country on the 27th.
