Week 6: 5/22 - 5/25

 

Bellmore-Merrick Bulldogs 7 - Half Hollow Hills Thundercolts 0: Tyler Sapoff jumped into goal for Half Hollow Hills keeping them in the game, but Bellmore proved to be way too much. Luke Tepfer had three goals, and Landon Butler had three assists in the win.

 

POB / JFK Hawks 8 - Plainedge Red Devils 7 (SO): It took a full game, overtime and a shootout but POB was able to hand Plainedge their first loss of the season. Plainedge trailed 5-2 with 15 minutes remaining but was able to rally to tie it with under a minute left. Overtime didn’t settle anything, and in the third round of the shootout Ryan Botkin put POB ahead and goaltender Simon Klonsky shut the door making two great saves for the win.

 

Farmingdale Dalers 11 - Middle Country Cougars 3: Middle Country came out to a 2-0 lead but that did not last long as Farmingdale scored six goals to finish the first half. Brendan and Daniel Sattler combined for five points, and Ryder Kinhackl added two assists.

 

Roslyn Bulldogs Blue 6 - Half Hollow Hills Thundercolts 5: Jake Auerbach’s second goal in under five minutes tied the game late for Half Hollow Hills, but Spencer Roth’s third and final goal with 1:07 remaining proved to be the winner. Eli Zimmerman had two goals for Roslyn, and Drew Schachter’s goal for Half Hollow Hills was his first of the season.

 

Farmingdale Dalers 13 - Roslyn Bulldogs White 9: The highest scoring game of the season did not disappoint as the Bulldogs and Dalers traded goals all game long. Ryan Rosenbaum, Ryan Fox and Corey Sadler kept Roslyn White in the game, but Farmingdale got a combined 11 goals from Brendan Russo, Tommy Sattler and Brendan Sattler.
