Scout Day Announced
SOMERS, Connecticut - The ITBL is excited to announce a Scout Day in 2017 for all players. The Scout Day will be Sunday, June 11th at a college or university field in New England. Blue Gray USA and the ITBL have extended the partnership for another year and Blue Gray will be running the Scout Day. The event is open to all ITBL players in the 18u and 16u divisions and the players will have a chance to showcase their skills in front of college coaches throughout the region.
College coaches are looking forward to the Scout Day as well - "It'll be a great opportunity for players to get out in front of us," says Joe Mangiameli, the Recruiting Coordinator at a Division III institution. "The ITBL is doing a great job gaining exposure for the players in the league."

The ITBL is entering the second year and has grown to more teams in 2017. In the inaugural season in 2016, there were nine total teams with the Connecticut Moose taking home the title for the 18U division and the Dream Bat Bombers winning the 16U division.
