Teams Commit to ITBL for 2018 Season
SOMERS, Conn. - With the summer season just a few months away, a handful of teams have committed to playing in the Independent Travel Baseball League (ITBL) for the upcoming 2018 season. Of the eight teams that have committed, the ITBL welcomes three new squads to the league.
The Western Mass. Rockies, who had an 18U team in the league last year, adds a 16U squad that will play their first summer schedule with ITBL this year. Top Prospects (Mass.) will enter a team in the 18U division for the first time, while the Ocean State (R.I.) Outlaws, led by manager Geoff Turner, will join their team in the 16U division this summer.
