IUP Adds 11 New Players to 17-18 Roster
The IUP Crimson Hawks have added 11 new pieces to the team for this seasons campaign. The new players range in age from 18-21 and come to IUP from PA, OH, NY, and MI from 5 different leagues across the country. Brett Gummo will make the jump from the IUP D3 team to the D1 team this year. The Hawks also picked up 3 more players from familiar local Midget program the Mid State Mustangs along with 2 other players from in state midget AA programs. From the Jr ranks, IUP has gained 2 players from the NA3HL, 2 players from the USPHL-Elite, and 1 player from the GMHL.
