Aviators play 316 Elite 18U to 5-5 tie
The Haysville Aviators and 316 Elite 18U settled for a 5-5 tie last night (July 19) at Plagens-Carpenter Park.
316 Elite jumped out to a 3-0 lead before the Aviators fought back to tie the score with three runs in the third inning.
After Haysville made it five unanswered runs with two more in the fifth to take the lead, single tallies in the bottom of the fifth and seventh frames allowed 316 Elite to pull even and end the game in a gridlock.
Paco Hernandez went 3-of-4 at the plate to pace 316 Elite, with Tommy Davis going 3-of-4 with an RBI for the Aviators. Jayden Hill also tripled and drove in two runs for Haysville.
Haysville will now host Cheney tonight (July 20) starting at 7 pm at Plagens-Carpenter Park.
