Stampede uses big second period to beat Bill Puckin Murrays, 8-0

Bill Puckin Murrays was within striking distance after one period, but Stampede put the pedal down in the second en route to an 8-0 victory.

Stampede was led by John Vicari, who had one goal. Vicari scored 5:00 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Stampede. Justin Apgar assisted on the tally.

Stampede was steadier on the defensive front than it has been for much of this season. Stampede allows 2.5 goals per game.

Stampede also got points from Ryan Clune, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Apgar, who also grabbed one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Stampede included Richard Ketchow, who had three and Brennan Guli and Jason Moye, who scored one goal each.
