ROAD TO THE SCHMALZ CUP
Seven of the eight divisions in the PJHL have played down to their division finals. With the exception of the Bloomfield Division, the teams that finished first and second place in regular season play have advanced to face each other in divisional finals.
EAST CONFERENCE
ORR DIVISION: It took seven games but North Kawartha beat Lakefield. The Eagles eliminated Uxbridge in six to face NKK in the finals.
TOD DIVISION: Napanee leads the series against Picton 1-0. Game two is Thursday in Picton.
NORTH CONFERENCE
CARRUTHERS DIVISION: Alliston leads their series against Penetang 3-2. Stayner ousted Orillia 4-2 to advance. They await the outcome of the Alliston Penetang series.
POLLOCK DIVISION: Mount Forest leads the series against Wingham 1-0. Game two is today in Wingham.
WEST CONFERENCE
STOBBS DIVISION: Lakeshore eliminated Essex 4-1 to face Mooretown, who routed Amherstburg in four straight, in the division finals. Game one is Friday the thirteenth in Lakeshore.
YECK DIVISION: Thamesford beat out Dorchester in five games to advance to the finals against Exeter who outplayed Mr. Brydges four games to one. Schedule is TBA.
SOUTH CONFERENCE
DOHERTY DIVISION: Tavistock swept Woodstock off the board in four games straight. Wellesley came from behind, to take their series 4-2 against Ayr to advance. Best of seven series starts Monday.
BLOOMFIELD DIVISION: For the ninth season in a row, Grimsby and Glanbrook face each other in the division finals. Glanbrook took the title once, back in 2017-2018. Grimsby leads the series 2-1. Game four is in Glanbrook on Wednesday.
