The win by Port Hope clinched the best of seven series at zero-four

Panthers led five-zero after the opening frame the first period and maintained a healthy margin after.

Port Hope's Aaron Young was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 27 saves and let only one puck past him.

Panthers's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.Port Hope put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Napanee to score on any of their six power plays.

Port Hope additionally got points from Cameron McGill, who also registered one goal and one assist , Blane Gaudon, who also registered one goal and one assist , and Dalton Lawrence, who also registered two goals and three assists to lead the team in points. Port Hope also got a goal from Jordan Gardner as well. In addition, Port Hope received assists from Mike Smith, who had two and Jon Campbell , Jack Vautour, Andrew Gurr, and Evan Foley, who each chipped in one.

Panthers incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Cameron Parr made nine saves for Raiders on 14 shots. Napanee incurred 80 minutes in penalty time with 15 minors.
