PANTHERS SIGN PAZIUK TO BOLSTER BLUE-LINE
The Panthers are pleased to announce today that the program has signed Oz Paziuk (Cobourg, ON) of the Clarington Toros AAA Midget team to a PJHL Standard Player Agreement. In 33 games with the Toros last season, Oz posted 8 points (0 G, 8 A) and was relied upon in critical situations and on special teams. Oz is no stranger to the Panthers, as last season he signed as an Affiliate with the club, but did not dress in any games.
"We're excited to sign Oz and welcome him to our program this season," said General Manager Alex Guiney. "At 6'2" Oz is a physical presence on the back-end, who moves well for his size, and possesses strong small-area puck skills. His ability to separate players from the puck and make quick outlet passes will help us defend less, and transition to offense. We're looking for him to transition into junior hockey quickly, and make an impact for us this season."
The Panthers look forward to introducing Oz to our fans this season. For more roster updates be sure to subscribe to our news feed by clicking the subscribe button on the news page as well as follow us on Twitter and Facebook.
