PANTHERS ACQUIRE PERLEY FRY FOR SECOND STINT AS A PANTHER
The Port Hope Panthers are pleased to announce today that the program has acquired 2000-born forward Will Perley Fry from the Campbellford Rebels and have signed him to a Standard Player Agreement for the 2020-2021 season. Will will be familiar to Panthers fans, as he started the year last season with the Panthers, prior to being traded to Campbellford in November. In 15 games with the Panthers last season, Will posted 3 points (2 G, 1 A) and added another 8 points (6 G, 2 A) in 25 games with the Rebels.
"We heard that Will might be available this off-season and jumped at the opportunity to bring him back to Port Hope," said General Manager Alex Guiney. "Will showed last season that he can be a valuable contributor, and made an impression on our staff and the players in our dressing room. Everyone was thrilled to hear that he'll be back, and we look forward to him taking the ice for us, and what he brings to our team and room."
