The Forest Lake Post 225 uses big fourth inning to beat the Champlin Post 600, 8-1

Maple Lake, MN - The Forest Lake Post 225  took down the Champlin Post 600  8-1 on Friday at Maple Lake after slamming the Champlin Post 600 with five runs in the fourth inning.

Cameron Kline racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Forest Lake Post 225. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the third and sixth innings.

The Forest Lake Post 225 relied on Jake Wensmann to eat up innings en route to the win. Wensmann allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks while striking out four over seven innings of work.

Cole Albers went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Champlin Post 600. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and seventh innings.

Aaron Kloeppner  took the loss for the Champlin Post 600. He allowed eight runs in six innings, walked two and struck out two.
