The Wayzata Post 118 offense too much for the Eastview Thunder in 10-2 rout

Delano, MN - The Wayzata Post 118  jumped out to an early lead on the Eastview Thunder  and captured a 10-2 victory on Saturday at Dave Zitzloff Field.

The game was decided quickly as the Wayzata Post 118 exerted their will early with six runs in the first three innings.

An RBI single by Eric Stolt and an RBI single by Stolt during the first inning and a single by Chad Musser, a single by Parker Hlavacek, an RBI single by Cam Keenan, a sacrifice fly by Griffin Schneider, a sacrifice fly by Schneider, , and a single by Stolt in the second inning supplied the early offense for the Wayzata Post 118.

Will Oberg racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Wayzata Post 118. He singled in the second inning and tripled in the eighth inning.

The loss elimnated Eastview from the tournament and Wayzata plays at 10am against Little Falls in an elmination round game. 

 

Cody Goedderz picked up the win for the Wayzata Post 118. Goedderz pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and one walk while striking out five.

 

Logan Ablbrecht (0-1) took the loss for the Eastview Thunder. He allowed six runs in two innings, walked three and struck out none.
