Standings and Tiebreakers
Important Note: Scenarios are not official. Playoff entrants and seeds are officially determined by league review at the conclusion of the regular season. If you believe you see a mistake, please let us know.
Points govern the standings. Teams are awarded two points for a win, one point for a tie, zero points for a loss, and minus-2 points for a forfeit (a forfeit is when a team fails to play; a mercy-rule loss is not a forfeit).
The first tiebreaker is head-to-head record. For example, if two teams have the same number of points, then the winner of the season series is ahead in the standings.
The next tiebreaker is overall run differential. For example, if two teams have the same number of points and split the season series then the team who outscored its opponents by the most (or who was outscored by the least) is ahead in the standings.

As the Lehigh Valley Baseball League enters the final week of its 2019 regular season, the Premier Division's six playoff entrants, the South Division's four playoff entrants, and the North Division's four playoff entrants are each determined.
Undetermined is how those teams will be seeded once the playoffs begin, and who they will play.
Here are scenarios for each North Division team heading into the final week of the regular season:
Wilson Warriors
11-4 (22 points), 1 game to play (24 max points), Ceiling: First place, Floor: Second place
A win clinches first place. A loss would leave the door open.
Nazareth River Otters
9-4-1 (19 points), 2 games to play (23 max points), Ceiling: First place, Floor: Fourth place
The Otters can take over first place with two wins and a Warriors loss. The Otters clinch second place with one win. One loss would make the third seed possible and two losses would make the fourth seed possible.
Bushkill Blue Jays
9-5 (18 points), 2 games to play (22 max points), Ceiling: Second place, Floor: Fourth place
Bushkill can reach second with one win and two Otters losses or two wins and one Otters loss. The fourth-place scenario includes losing out while the Pilots win their remaining three.
Pilots
8-5-1 (17 points), 2 games to play (21 max points), Ceiling: Second place, Floor: Fourth place
The Pink Sox can still pull even in points but the Pilots hold the head-to-head tiebreaker, making the Pilots playoff appearance a lock. With another win or two, and help, the Pilots can avoid opening the playoffs against the top seed.
The Pink Sox (7-7-1, 15 points) and Tannersville Astros (2-12, 4 points) are playing for pride and spoilers.
