Bushue's effort not enough in the OFallon Travelers' 8-4 loss

Tyler Bushue both hit and pitched well for the OFallon Travelers (14-17), but it wasn't enough as the OFallon Travelers fell to the Lemay Governors 8-4 at Principia College Field on Friday.

Bushue got on base three times in the game for the OFallon Travelers. He doubled in the seventh inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Bushue handled the Lemay Governors (20-8)'s lineup with ease, racking up five strikeouts. Bushue allowed one earned run, four hits and two walks over five innings.

 

The Lemay Governors scored four runs in the first inning to build an early lead.

 

Konrad Kemper reached base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

 

 

Drew May brought the heat against the OFallon Travelers during his outing. May held the OFallon Travelers hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.
