TRUE Hockey to open state-of-the-art custom skate factory in Winnipeg
TRUE Hockey will host a grand opening of the company’s new custom skate facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba on September 19, 2017. The 17,000 square foot space will house both the TRUE Hockey product showroom and offices as well as the factory for the new TRUE Pro Custom Skate line.
“We are excited to expand our footprint in Winnipeg which has been the home of Scott Van Horne and his team since launching his line of custom skates in 2014,” Jeremy Erspamer, president and CEO of True Temper Sports said. “The new facility will act as a company show piece as well as the manufacturing hub for our burgeoning line of TRUE Pro Custom Skates which are hand crafted and customized to each individual player’s foot for elite performance and pain-free skating.”
In addition to a ribbon cutting ceremony, the grand opening will also include a product show and tell, a tour of the TRUE factory and a Q&A session with TRUE Hockey’s management team. The event will take place from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
