The Anchorage Bucs outdone by Donadio and the Matsu Miners, 2-1

The Matsu Miners (10-6) beat the Anchorage Bucs (10-10) 2-1 on Friday at Mulcahy Stadium behind Michael Donadio, who went 2-3.

He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Trent Shelton picked up the win for the Matsu Miners. Shelton pitched 7 2/3 innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and no walks while striking out four.

Steven Sensley was hot from the plate for the Anchorage Bucs. Sensley went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Justin Mulvaney (0-3) took the loss for the Anchorage Bucs. He lasted just seven innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
