First-inning rally sparks blowout win for the Anchorage Bucs, 10-0
The Anchorage Bucs (12-12) blew out the Anchorage Glacier Pilots 10-0 on Monday at Mulcahy Stadium after pouring on six runs in the first inning.
The Anchorage Bucs scored in the first on an RBI double by Kody Reynolds, a two-run single by Logan Stoelke, , and a two-run double by Alan Trejo.
Trejo racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Anchorage Bucs.
Angel Landazuri kept contact to a minimum, striking out nine the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (10-11) batters. The Anchorage Bucs' pitcher tossed five innings of shutout ball and allowed only two hits.
Christian Martinek was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in two-thirds of an inning, walked two and struck out one.
