The Anchorage Bucs get key pinch-hit in 6-5 victory over the Matsu Miners

McCarthy Tatum was cold coming off the bench, but Tatum warmed up quickly as Tatum stroked a key pinch-hit single in the 11 to lead the Anchorage Bucs (13-12) to a 6-5 win over the Matsu Miners (13-10) on Friday at Hermon Brothers Field.

With the score tied at five, Tatum came to the plate and singled.

Tatum racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Anchorage Bucs.

Chris Rivera got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Jordan Floyd (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed one run.
