The Peninsula Oilers outdone by Kasuls and the Anchorage Bucs, 2-1

Hunter Kasuls went 2-3, helping the Anchorage Bucs (17-17) to a 2-1 victory over the Peninsula Oilers (19-19) on Monday at Mulcahy Stadium.

He singled in the first and third innings.

The Anchorage Bucs relied on Justin Mulvaney to eat up innings en route to the win. Mulvaney allowed one earned run, four hits and no walks while striking out three over seven innings of work.

Marshall Boggs paced the Peninsula Oilers at the plate. Boggs went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the seventh inning.

Billy Oxford (2-1) took the loss for the Peninsula Oilers. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed two runs.
