MINOT, N.D. -- It had the feeling of a national tournament game in March. The back and forth action, with tight defensive play. Two, top 5 teams, poised for big seasons. The teams traded jabs back and forth all game long, including superb goaltending. It took an extra two minutes and a big goal from 5th year senior Eric Bollefer to give the Beavers the 2-1 Overtime win. 

"It was a tough game and our guys found a way to win." Said Head Coach Wade Regier  "We out played them at times and we got out played at times. It was indicative of a battle between two top teams. We wouldn't be having this discussion if it weren't for solid goaltending from Josh (Bykowski)."

Davis Sheldon added the other goal for the Beavers.

Beavers now turn to face the Utah Utes Friday and Saturday night. Both games 7:30pm at the Pepsi Rink at the MAYSA Arena.
