Salt Lake City, U.T. -- The Beavers didn't disappoint in the final games of the regular season. The Beavers, wanting to avenge a loss to the Utes earlier in the season, came back in a fury. The Beavers put up big numbers 6-1 on Friday and 9-0 on Saturday. The offensive explosion has set the tone for the Beavers with only a few games remaining before the national tournament. The series sweep will lock the Beavers into a top 10 spot heading into the tournament.

"It was a great weekend offensively for us." Said Head Coach Wade Regier. "We didn't really play great hockey all around, but finished plays when we wanted too. It is certainly a measuring stick for us and weekend for us to be aware, we need to be better."

The Beavers now wait to see final official rankings and seeding for the national tournament. The Beavers are expected to finish 6th and play the 11th seed in the 2nd round at nationals.

The Beavers travel to Williston State Tuesday for the rescheduled game back in January, before hosting Jamestown on Thursday for the final home game of the season.
