Hockey is Back
MINOT, N.D. – In an off season that has gone on for what feels like forever, the Beavers are finally back on the ice. The Beavers head to Williston for a pair of non-conference games. The Beavers have had months to prepare for a season that has come with so much uncertainty. Currently there are only 12 of 72 ACHA Division 1 teams still playing. This unique situation is something the Beavers will embrace and consider themselves extremely fortunate to be playing games in the fall.
“We feel extremely fortunate.” Said Head Coach Wade Regier. “We take it all day by day and hope we continue to make great choices as attempt to stay healthy during this current pandemic. Our guys know the task at hand and are ready to start playing meaningful games. We are all excited to finally get on a bus and play some games.”
The Beavers season will be modified this year, especially in the second half. The national tournament has been pushed to the middle of April. This has moved many games to the second half. The Tetons come into the weekend after a split with the Jamestown’s ACHA D2 game.
Game time on Friday is 7:00pm and 6:00pm on Saturday. Both games are played at the Agri-Sports arena. No Fans will be permitted into the game. We will release the broadcast information via Facebook and Twitter. Follow along on Twitter for updates.
