Oakdale 6TH Runs Table
Oakdale's 6TH Grade team DOM-inated all season long, finishing unbeaten at 19-0 and winning the 2025-26 year-end tournament with a 57-49 triumph over Brunswick. That was just the second Bears' single-digit decision all year.
They were led by Dom Jackson's 66 points and 42 rebounds in the three-game tournament run.
In the championship game, Jackson led Oakdale with 27 points and 12 rebounds to power Oakdale to the win over Brunswick. The game was a battle from start to finish, featuring 15 lead changes. Oakdale eventually took control for good when Dom scored inside to give his team the lead late in the game. Oakdale trailed 28–26 at halftime, and Brunswick briefly grabbed momentum with a 7–0 run to go ahead. Later in the game, with Oakdale trailing 47–46, the team responded with a huge 11–2 run to swing the momentum and take control. Dom came up big in the fourth quarter, scoring 10 points as Oakdale outscored Mid MD Brunswick 18–9 in the final period to secure the win. Oakdale controlled the boards, finishing with 28 total rebounds, with Dominic leading the way with 12. The team also moved the ball extremely well, recording 16 assists on 21 made baskets. Brantley V led the team with six assists. Defensively, Oakdale was aggressive, tallying 16 steals, including five from Brantley. Additional scoring contributions came from Ryan H (10 points), Brantley (8), Owen F (6), and Miles A (6). Owen also knocked down two three-pointers for Oakdale. Leading scorer for Brunswick James Kraus with 27.
