WOMEN'S TEAM TO KICK OFF THE NEW SEASON WITH THREE ROAD GAMES THIS WEEKEND
With games at Columbia University, UConn, and Rutgers this weekend, the MSU Women's Hockey team looks to build off their inaugural season and be much more competitive this season. With the addition of Alex Tepper and Mikaela Schultz, the team already looks to be much stronger already. Returning 9 of the previous seasons 14 players, and retaining the team’s leading scorer Britt Meneghin, the program seems to be stable moving forward.
So far on the schedule the team has 11 competitive games booked and is looking to add two more to round out the second semester. With two more players being added to the roster second semester the team is expanding by leaps and bounds. The lady Red Hawks will host their first home game this season at home on October 16th at 9:40PM immediately following the men's game against Central Connecticut State University.
