HEADED INTO BREAK RED HAWKS SIT AT 11-1-0
The Montclair State Red Hawks Women's Team wrapped up the Northeast Showcase last weekend suffering their first loss of the season and sit at 11-1-0 headed into the Holiday Break. The team was able to defeat DVCHC foes Towson and Loyola 11-2 and 11-0 respectively before falling to #2 ranked University of Delaware by a 6-0 margin.
The Red Hawks found themselves ranked #4 in the East two spots behind UDel in that regard. However this game may effect their ranking next period as several other teams are emerging as competitors. The Red Hawks need to remain in the top 6 to punch their ticket to the national tournament this season.
In DVCHC play, the Red Hawks are 9-0-0 and lead the league by a large margin heading into the second half of the season.
