Week two is a quiet week for the teams of the NCHL. The only two teams in action, DePaul University and Marian University, are facing off against one another in Rolling Meadows, IL. It will be the first conference action for each team.

DePaul University hosts Marian University:

After last weekend’s success in a non-conference battle with Bradley University, 4-2 victory and 5-5 tie, DePaul University plays host to Marian University. This is the first conference match up for DePaul and it will be quite the NCHL welcome as Marian is the reigning Hap Cup Champions and finished ranked #6 in the Central Region rankings.

Marian University will be looking to get off to a good start on their quest toward repeating as Hap Cup Champions and replicating their 13-1 record in conference play. The off-season additions of Aurora University, who finished ranked #2 in the Central Region, Marquette University, and this week’s foe DePaul, along with all the other league members, will make that a formidable challenge.
